Dog Friendly

Here at Church View Cottage we understand how important it is to bring your dog on holiday with you. Church View cottage truly welcomes you and your dogs. Our guests say "It's wonderful that Church View Cottage is truly dog friendly and not dog tolerant".

Dogs are welcome in all areas of the cottage. We are happy for dogs to sleep with you but request that you bring your own bedding.

There is no extra charge to bring your dog with you.

Norfolk is a very dog friendly county and dogs are welcome in many pubs, restaurants and cafes. All the information about this fantastic places are available in the cottages welcome information.

With the open fields, a variety of woodland and National Trust walks and the quiet sandy beaches to explore, your dog is certain to have a great holiday too.

We are always happy to recommend beaches which are suitable for your dogs individual needs.

 Our property is truly dog friendly. The garden is fully enclosed, spacious and safe.

We provide dog bowls, furniture throws, bedding, poo bags, homemade dog biscuits.

 A large crate is available on request.

 Church View Cottage comfortably sleeps two large dogs or three small dogs but please contact us if you have more dogs that you would like to bring and we will see if we can accommodate you all.

To us it is not about the number it is dependable on the size, breed and age of you dogs.

We do ask that you follow our doggy rules;

  • Please clean up after your dog both inside and outside.

  • We ask that your dog is not left alone in the property.

  • We pride ourselves in providing high quality pillows, duvets and bed linen.  Dogs are not permitted to sleep on the beds to protect the quality of the bedding we provide.  Dog hairs can take a very long time to remove and on some occasions we have had to throw away items as they are beyond cleaning.

  • If you wish to bring your own duvet and bed linen with you then you will be able to tell me on your arrival form.

  • In the unlikely event that your dog causes any damage to the property this will be taken out of your deposit.

Information on local vets can be found in the welcome pack.

Dogs are allowed on most of the local beaches all year round however there are some beaches which have restrictions from the 1st May to the 1st October. In the cottage there is a North Norfolk Beach Guide which explains this in greater detail.
